Dr. Dawn Amor
Dr. Amor's Bio
Dr. Dawn Amor is in her 25th year of enjoying veterinary medicine and surgery. She graduated in 1996 from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine and did her last clinical year at Oklahoma State University. She went on to work as an associate veterinarian in Newport News, VA for a few years until she started her own company, doing veterinary relief work (filling in for other veterinarians when they were gone from their practice) in the entire Hampton Roads area. Then in 2003, Dr. Amor purchased Woodland Veterinary Hospital, and she is in her 18th year of practicing there. She is happily married to David Amor, Woodland’s practice manager, and they have two children—Noah, a sophomore in high school, and Christian, a freshman in college. In addition, they have their furry family, Daisy (Golden Retriever), Snoopy and Ali (Jack Russells), and Rascal (Chiweenie). They also have two cats at home (Sun and Fluffers).
